The moon hung high in the sky tonight, full and bright, lighting the sky on this halloween night. Sprouts and seedlings littered the streets, running around as their current obsession as they went door to door looking for candy and treats. One of those little seedlings was Nemii, walking briskly from house to house, her older brother Theo not far behind. She spent weeks plotting out the optimal route for candy-to-time, and she wasn't going to let anyone get in her way! A chill autumn breeze swept through the crowd. With the leaves starting to change and winter fast approaching, the locals decided to throw one last hurrah before the cold weather set it, and a festival was planned. Junmei made her way through the crowd, ambling here and there. She glanced at the stalls as she passed by. She was hoping to find some nice paints or fabrics for sale, but so far no luck. Making her way to the end of the lane, she stepped to the side to get out of the crowd and pause. A puff of smoke came from her lips as she sighed. With no friends and no family to spend the night with, events like this just weren't the same. Too many people, too much noise. Maybe she was just getting old. Sitting on her rooftop balcony, Jumei sat and watched the sun set on this cloudy evening. It had been raining early in the morning, but by the afternoon the rain had settled and the clouds started to part ways. Jumei loved to watch the sunset when she could. It was becoming harder as fall fell into winter though, as she was often still busy with work when the sun started falling. She sighed, resting her face on her palm as she looked over the horizon. The seasons weren't the only thing changing rapidly around here. New buildings have been popping up all over the place. Within the last few years, her previously high rise building was slowly becoming the norm, and her precious skyline was being muddled with new constructions and buildings.
